Poking my head in to say that I am still on a low-end 2014 Mac, and whilst the standalone version of Air runs okay in Wine, it definitely feels.. sluggish? So a dedicated app would be swell.

I play songs on a C600 or C800 mod before trying them on a 2.5x... (change the 600 or 800 to 200 or 400 for songs that are too fast to begin with xD)

It is, because any "C" mod ignores any change in arrow speed, for instance, when playing a few versions of Max Forever, under a "C" mod it is far easier, unless said "C" mod was say 800 or 900....
