Best martial Art scenes EVER it's freaking amazing
There is absolutely NO WIRING in this movie that guy can really JUMP that high!
and absolutely no CG!!
The guy does have some awesome moves, I'll give him that. But I dont know if it will beat Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
Well i had more fun Watching Ong Bak then CTHD.
But CTHD had a better story hands down but i would say Ong-Bak's martial arts is more entertaining hands down.
I can't believe some people are actually questioning Ong-Bak or Tony Ja. Apparently you haven't seen this movie. Ong-Bak is way better than Crotch of Tiger Hiding Dragon. Before I saw Ong-Bak, I was a pretty big fan of HK movies, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li. But after I saw Ong-Bak, my views totally changed. Tony Ja is the real deal! NO DOUBLES, NO WIRES, NO SPECIAL EFFECTS! Beat that HK movies, Jackie Chan, Jet Li! You can't get any better than that. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is so unreal. Hello! Reality! People can't fly! If it's a martial arts movie, leave it at that. Don't turn it into a fantasy/magical movie. And the least Hollywood could do is make the flying kicks look believable. And if they want the help of wires to avoid injury, they should do moves that are possible to do in real life. Ong Bak had real contact! Whether it was really hard or not.
Don't be hatin' cuz there's finally something better than kung fu, karate, and tae kwon do. Oh yeah, adding to the list, Jackie Chan and Jet Li. [whether you want to admit it or not]
Besides, there's more people who like this movie than dislike it.
I can't believe some people are actually questioning Ong-Bak or Tony Ja. [they have the right to their own opinions]
Ong-Bak is way better than Crotch of Tiger Hiding Dragon. [see, there's YOUR opinion]
Tony Ja is the real deal! NO DOUBLES, NO WIRES, NO SPECIAL EFFECTS! [Jackie Chan does his own stunts, and up until recently, never used wires. his older movies are many times better, anyways. like Legend of Dunken Master. that movie is awesome. which reminds me, Jackie Chan's movies are not only about the action, but also the humor. Jackie Chan, tho serious sometimes, is a very funny guy, and his movies reflect that]
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is so unreal. [people dont always like realism. many people like that magical element]
And the least Hollywood could do is make the flying kicks look believable. [you're talking about CTHD, but then u say Hollywood should do this or that. the movie is not a USA-borne project, so Hollywood wouldnt have anything to do with it]
And if they want the help of wires to avoid injury, they should do moves that are possible to do in real life. [people have seen things like that for ages. now that we have the technology to make unreal and totally awesome things, why not do it?]
Don't be hatin' cuz there's finally something better than kung fu, karate, and tae kwon do. Oh yeah, adding to the list, Jackie Chan and Jet Li. [whether you want to admit it or not] [those 2 sentances made no sense at all after the word fu. in words of some character Samuel L. Jackson played, "English, mother fucker, do you speak it?" i mean, that 2nd sentance is incomplete. verb-subject agreement: learn it.]
Besides, there's more people who like this movie than dislike it. [that could be said of many many things, but it doesnt mean it's good. just listen to Britney Spears.]
in conclusion, we all have different opinions. therefore, it's best that some action movies are real, like this thing u say is so great, and that others are more unreal, such as all these wire stunts u see nowadays. just because u like it one way doesnt mean everybody else likes it that way. same way one person may want every movie to be some chick flick, but the rest of us would kill ourselves if that was the case. differing opinions: learn to accept them.
also, it is wise to not put more than 3 exclaimation marks at the end of any sentance (especially topic titles), as putting more has the tendancy to piss people off.
oh, and his moves are cool, but the trailers coulda been alot better. it's easier to sell a movie if u show tons of action instead of guys climbing a tree or a guy alone practicing moves.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
