This is a tournament consisting of teams of two people, where each team will face off against another team in single elimination style.
This tournament is for people of non-elite skill. I won't accept any participants who have a high number of FMO or FGO AAA's because not everybody has the ability to do that. I'm trying to have an even playing field so everyone has some-what of a chance to win, and it's a lot of work to do many divisions, and I work 40 hours a week so I don't want to put so much time into it. If this tournament is successful, maybe we can see another one like this with more divisions.
If you have more than 550 or 600 AAA's, don't sign up for this. If you have
more than 4 or 5 FMO AAA's, don't sign up. Hopefully that cap, will make it a little more even.

Each round will last one day, from midnight to midnight (central time) regardless of how many people submit/don't submit. Please post your scores in this thread.

Scoring calculation will be decided by what your team's combined raw score is on a song or set of songs. Raw score being, the 50 points per perfect, 25 for goods, etc. Full comboing doesn't matter.
If two opposing teams happen to get the same score at the end of the round, a new set of songs will be given for just that group of people, with a shorter amount of time to play the songs and submit scores. In which case, we will begin the next round after a day of rest (for everybody except the two teams who have a bonus round), to stay with the midnight round starts.

This tournament has a registration fee of 2,000 credits per person. The grand prize will be given to the one team who wins the tournament. No second prize unless there are a lot of people in this tournament and we can afford that luxury.
Let me know in this thread if you're playing in this tournament, and who your teammate will be. Your teammate will need to agree with this in his/her post.
You both need to post at almost the same time for legimacy (15 minutes apart or less), and you both need to pay the 2,000 credit fee before I list you in the tournament.
There will either be 8 teams or 16 teams, depending on how much interest there is. There will be no other amount of teams.
