    FFR songs on Youtube

    This is totally different from the FFR Perfect Project or any number of other performance videos. I'm talking about "justdoit9233" who seems to have a whole plethora of songs ripped right from our game. He has the disclaimer that he does not own the rights to the music in the description and that viewers can find it at our site, but what I'm wondering is whether the administration is all right with this practice.

    Among the songs on his channel:

    Northern Lights (is this song even out yet?)

      We have already gotten permission from the original artists of the songs but the user who put the songs up probably do not so I don't think it is a good idea. :P

              I say let him be. He's directing those who view them to us for one, and second, it's not like he's harming us in any way shape or form.
              Are we losing players because of him? No. Are we losing site revenue? No.
              In fact, both of these are probably opposites. By him pointing viewers in our direction, people see the site, may be inclined to join and traffic increases.
              And it's not like the music itself can't be found here, or downloaded elsewhere and gotten for free anyway.

                          I don't know but the artists gave permission for FFR to use their songs not youtube. I think I read somewhere that ripping the music from the game was a bad thing... not sure.

                          We'll see what the admins say.

                          I think the bigger question is...Why does ScarletSky have a mustache on his weed?
