To people that use orbular like note skin

Well i was wondering whether or not i should hop the bandwagon. People like Gundam Dude and Alexdest use orbular, but does it improve you in some areas? Is it all for show? share your thoughts with me please >.<

I like using Orbular once in a while, but it doesn't necessarily improve my scores, but that's just me though. It improves other people's skills

i used to find orbular easier to read than arrow-based noteskins, but my reading skills improved over time so now i use midi-note (on ssc, it's an arrow noteskin) because i can MA better with it

"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
            "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.

It helps me see jacks a lot better than on arrow-based noteskins.

Basically that's all for why I use it lol.

Personal preference really. Some people find that reading a rounded noteskin like orbular much easier on the eyes than sharp and pointed arrows.

Go with whatever you're comfortable with.

I think patterns just make more sense with orbular. Arrows make it feel like I'm supposed to dance to it. Mostly Orbular just levels out everything for me. No asymmetrical shapes; I can line it all up and get the timing down.

I always thought that the Velocity noteskin was the best out there... Am I the only one?

EDIT: Letters is definitely a close second.

Re: To people that use orbular like note skin

I've experimented with a ton of noteskins and IMO, Orbular is the best if you like seeing exactly where to hit in order to get marvelous which IMO is why that reading jacks is easier and that it's easy for some people to MA but the problem with this noteskin is that the spacing between arrows is a bit compact so it might not help some people who is so used to noteskins like note or metal which both have bigger gaps. For people who likes to hit slightly early for marvelous and likes the normal gap spacing between arrows, then something like default, note, noteplus, note++, midare++ etc would be perfect for you. If you're more of a speed player and likes really huge gaps between arrows then i would go with the metal noteskin however if you're more of that player who likes to hit on time then this noteskin will be hard to MA with. You have to hit a bit early (but not too early) to MA the metal noteskin.

Again, this is from my 4-year experience when i was deciding which noteskin worked for me. Feel free to disagree with my opinion and just go with what Gundam-Dude said about going with what you're comfortable with.

Thanks that really does help Alot actually. I do have trouble reading orbular a bit because it is different, but certain patterns become easier to read and MAing becomes alot easier. However i would like to experiment with those other noteskins to see if there is anything past a marginal difference.
