    how2make dubstep

    Seriously, I have tried multiple times to make the grimy/filthy basslines that you can find in every dubstep track, but I have never successfully done it.

    Maybe it's for the best, I don't think I'd be good at making dubstep lol.

    But I'd at least like to try it.

      youtube tutorials, it isnt very hard to make those basslines even ive made them xd

                          Massive is the best by far if using FL studio. Youtube and tutorials help a ton, even you won't/don't like it.

                                  I actually have done Magical8bit sweepage through shit tons of effects before, and it doesn't sound that bad.

                                      I've never used Massive and I think my song, "Invasion" turned out alright. For FL Studio, I recommend Sytrus.

                                      In general, it's difficult to make Dubstep because is sounds realllyy slow. You need to fill in the extra space with stuff like subtle hi-hats and whatnot. It's also a good idea to change little parts to keep the interest with a "slow" song. Like have a different rhythm in one part, alter the sound a bit in one little area, etc.

                                      Just keep practicing. It is one of the most difficult genres to make interesting and well done. Eventually, when you pull it off, it opens up a whole new world of imagination

                                      Edit: Also, when making a main bassline, think SIMPLE. It's not about complex rhythms and multiple notes, it's about using good, solid sounds, and even switching between 2 or 3.
