                      Going there for a week or so with the gf for a vacation. We've got reservations for stuff in Napa (and French Laundry) and such but we're still looking for stuff to do in SF itself.

                          Haven't been to SF many times (and the times I've went, I was much younger), so I can't give too much insight.

                          But after a bit of searching, found this french restaurant.

                              Definitely hit up The Exploratorium, pier 39, RainForest Cafe, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Park, tons of museums, Ocean Beach, The House of Air (airplane hangar filled with trampolines), Alkatraz, really great shopping on Market street.

                              Do lots of wine tasting in Napa xD

                              Should totally meet up at some point when you're here, I'm in SF practically every weekend anyway.

                                      Also you should hit up Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, or California's Great America in Santa Clara, both are really awesome theme parks.

                                          Take the 19th century trolleys at least once.

                                          Make sure you stop by the oceanside at SF. There's a lot of fresh seafood and lively activity going on there. The sea lions might be around at Pier 39 too.

                                          If you're going places other than just SF I have other suggestions as well.
