Go to Lombard Street (and possibly drive down it). Would be a cool experience unique to SF I suppose. The hills would be cool to see in the city in general.

Someone from a state like Texas would certainly say something like that. People are people.

Lombard street is a must, as mentioned, it's just a really cool street to drive down.

Will you be renting a car? SF has plenty of ZIPCars scattered everywhere and there's plenty of taxi's if you don't (I think having a car in SF is completely unnecessary, and finding any form of parking is near impossible outside of very expensive parking garages).

Ehh, I'd just walk down Lombard street, up those craggy stairs on either side. The multi-storey condos there are quite pretty, regarding urban design.
Actually, take a day's walk throughout SF city. I spent a whole day before and it was wonderful. You'll sightsee a lot of stuff, such as the Transamerica tower...you can't possibly miss that.
