    New Songs: Feb 8th, 2011

    4 new songs of the week are released today as usual, 3 regular songs and 1 secret song.
    We have real Funk and Hip-Hop songs, and songs in these genres are rare nowadays.

              Oh nice, another hip hop file that isn't ridiculously long

              FFR is seriously lacking in those, I'm definitely considering stepping that genre for next batch (it'll be closed for a while though)

                                  EDIT: Ack, those were songs submitted on August 2009? Yikes!! I'll be a grandfather when my song gets in!

                                      That brings up a question: What determines which songs get released? My Jamais Deux file for example is pretty old (mid 2009 or so) and it still hasn't been added haha. Is it random adding?

                                          So after playing them all, I like Voodoo People the best.

                                          I also think it isn't a 9 =/.

                                              Randomly determined for the most part, but -generally-, the older songs go first. We're trying to get rid of all the old songs right now, while we mix in some new ones as well each week.

                                                          C7 Funk and Voodoo People were pretty decent songs/files, although Voodoo felt a bit jacky for a 9 in my opinion. I suppose they were only mini jacks but still they were all throughout the song.

                                                          Sunny Funny Chiny was a fun 10...I don't know what it was but something about the JS kept giving me a good on the second half.

                                                          Yellow lasers was kind of so-so, moreso because I just really don't like much hip-hop. It wasn't a super long song or anything so I suppose it was a nice add (which finally brought the hip hop genre back to 2 pages!!)

                                                          Overall, they were sweet...keep 'em coming!
