I have Windows XP, everyone else's advice involves Windows 7, this is terrible, I *think* the offset will solve the good problem, but with these atrocious lag spikes, that ain't happening. Help?

I've been playing FFR fine with W7. As far as XP - use the "Windows Classic" theme found under Control Panel -> Display - it gets rid of some of the graphic + lag issues.
Second: Velocity's engine works best with Flash 9, as least after testing with all three.
Third: Have you tried reducing your computer's resolution when playing FFR?Comment

Velocity's engine is just plain laggy. Even on windows 7 with gamebooster 2.0 and flash 9 standalone I'm dumping all kinds of goods.

did all of that, still atrocious lag spikes, and I'm running gamebooster, hmm...
EDIT:
you guys might not understand HOW laggy this is, as in it moves in chunks, as in it's frozen half the time...yeah, that laggy, however the other FFR engine works fine, just doesn't have the offset

I just dump random goods everywhere. Maybe I just need to get used to it? Don't think it's an offset issue.

It's not just you. Have tried the velocity engine on flash 8 player and on chrome, ie, and firefox and all three gave me random goods, especially chrome for some reason. Just downloaded the flash 9 standalone you linked me, doubt it will improve the velocity engine.

I'm working on it, found a few places I can make it faster.
