I'd host one (and not participate in it). My tournaments have always been fun, and they'd be interesting. Not just purely FFR-skill based, but ability across a variety of metrics. Of course, this might grind against the traditional notion of what an Official Tournament is.

Alas, up to the admins.

Yeah well i guess it really doesnt matter what sprite said now does it? i still got banned even though i started to play legit, and started playing legit, he took my aaa's down but he didnt take my fc's? now aint that some ****? yes i do believe its bull i put away the bot and play legit and i get banned?

i have not botted at all since he took my stuff down and i cant believe someone would to be as ignorant as to ban someone who had learned his lesson even though i guess it doesnt matter. D:

In respects to an FFR official tournament, Sprite- would be the one to host it. However, he's said quite a few times that he refuses to do it because of how a fair amount of the users behave, and personally, I agree with him. What's the point of running a tournament when you don't get any sort of gratitude?

I'm interested in an Official Tourney that would be approached from a new angle instead of, "I MUST AAA EVERY SONG". It would be a nice change from the constant complaining of division placement. It's harder to complain about a variety of skills instead of just AAA'ing ability. I hope someone will consider this too.

I agree with Sprite, but if Rubix is willing to host one similar, I'd be happy to join and let him run it. As long as the admins and such were cool with it. And as long as we can keep it under control and such.

I think a tournament ran by FRR's top player (technically as of right now) would be an interesting experience.

Rubix can run any tourney he wants, at any time, using any method.

The only real difference between an "Official" tourney and a tourney is the possible awarding of VRofl, what with no access to the t-shirts anymore, and the possible removal of the subscriber status.

Many people need to realize that tournaments are meant to be fun (it's also a great way to gain a skill boost), not who can AAA all of their round songs. People like to sandbag their way to victory because all they want to do is win. But what's the thrill of winning when you are just participating something that has so much potential to be considered as fun. Yeah you win credits, yeah you win fame... so what... it's just a title and some credits...

When someone is clearly destroying a division, what they should do is move up to the next division. "No, but I'm not good enough..." so what? I don't know about you, but I'd rather be challenged than sit there lmao at everyone else in the division below me. Clearly, many ignorant and selfish people would rather try and win a tournament rather than strive to be at their full potential. Sooner or later, you'll see that someday, people in D1 will be in D6 another day and they will be the winners.

I just had to say it, because it's a common trend that I see in every tournament. It's frustrating to see so many dedicated players trying their hardest to reach their potential, yet fail to win something due to their hard work.

\end rant. Hopefully one day, great tourney hosts like Sprite-, AJ, and Kayla (and many more that I failed to mention) are willing to host future tournaments. They all have done a great job keeping their tournaments in line.

A competition is a competition. It's meant to show the best of everyone, and it includes AAA da whole sh*t. Just sayin'.
