JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A Jacksonville woman has pled guilty to killing her baby son over a game on the popular social networking site Facebook.
22 year-old Alexandra V. Tobias says her three-month old boy had been crying while she was trying to play ‘Farmville’. Tobias said she became enraged and told authorities that she shook the baby; then smoked a cigarette to calm herself down, before shaking him again. She also stated he "may have hit his head during the shaking".
The boy’s death was classified as second-degree murder, a charge that carries the possibility of a life sentence in prison.
Tobias entered her plea Wednesday. A second-degree murder charge is punishable by up to life in prison.
