True story.
So I'm just laying on the couch watching a movie on BET called Deep Blue Sea thinking about where I'm going to take my girl out to this Sunday, just zoning out and stuff, when I hear someone knocking at my door right. Curious to see who it was I peeped through the hole and saw a lady standing there. I opened the door and poked my head through because at the time I was wearing nothing but boxers. (It's hot as hell in my house, we cranked the heat to 90 degrees but don't ask why I know I'm weird and it's freaking cold outside and, yea) so anyway, she tells me we're next door neighbors. (That explains why there's a chick imploring at my doorway at 9:00 at night?) She says her sister had just got done with surgery and tells me a story about how they forgot to pay me for the last time I mowed their lawn (I ran a super lawn mowing business during the summer) and she was wondering if I could shovel her front yard tomorrow because it's supposed to snow like 12 inches overnight. The lady pulls out a 20 dollar bill. Jackpot.
So the deal is made and I'm planning on waking up early in the morning to get the job done asap. But see, the funny thing is, I don't have a shovel right, so I set out on a quest to finding one and ended up getting a free one from one of my neighbors that lived down the block from me. I felt kinda bad because I didn't have nothing to give in return, except the 20 in my pocket. Soooooo, out of the kindness of my heart, I offered to shovel their snow free of charge. (I didn't want the shovel but what could I do?) I think it's fair. Oh plus I'm supposed to get my paycheck tomorrow so that's something worth looking forward to as well.
