    (wii) SSBB - Tournament?

Ive been thinking about making a SSBB tourney on wifi. If you think this is a good idea respond please. And give me your friend code.
My Friend Code:3008-1477-8658 nickname is AJ
My Team Line up is Falco, Toon Link, Snake

    The Tournament Rules are simple,
    1. Add My friend code, and your opponents friend codes
    2. You will play on stage of random(i will be watching and no one cheats). And must choose a lineup of 5 people.
    3. Each will have 2 lives which is a 6 life game.
If you have a Cell, Ask me for the # so that you guys can fight and i may watch...
I also will be participating in this, and will follow the rules.
    _______________________________________________________________
I need feedback, give me more rules that can help if you can. And tell me
if this is a good idea, if so and your interested in joining. Then tell me.

I held the first brawl tournament a while back. I really detest playing online due to the lag, but if enough people join I might do this.

i have to disagree. being able to use your surroundings is almost key to a victory. items should always be on. you should know how to use them and how to counter them. the baseball bat can be thrown for a good deal of damage for example

I'm sorry but you're completely wrong. Neutral stages only, and no items whatsoever or this tournament is automatically garbage.

Stages that have a lot of platforms (or a single platform over the entire stage) cripple my Pikachu. Is that fair?

Differences in terrain is one thing, but when a stage doesn't allow a character to simply make use of their attacks in a way which is at all useful, I'd say it's not very fair.

The irony is that there is no truly fair option. But I still prefer Final Destination because at least then my character of choice doesn't suffer negatively. ****ing bull**** platforms and **** like in that MGS level.

also lol @ talking about fairness then segueing into talking about items

Also, I doubt anyone here can play a good enough MK for me to consider requesting a ban on him.

FD has those obnoxious ****ing edges that shaft you downwards it's silly.

I agree with korny on pretty much everything, neutral stages only and no items for the love of god. No bans, it's a five character team which makes gay characters less gay.

Dunno about 15 lives though, I'd rather it be 1 life per character or something so it doesn't get insanely long.
