Also, I doubt anyone here can play a good enough MK for me to consider requesting a ban on him.

Have I missed something? Is there some crazy glitch that makes MK actually be broken?

MK is banned in tournaments here in Texas. His only counterpicks on a high enough level are yoshi and MK.

The MK boards are redoing MK's matchups and Yoshi is now 40-60 with MK. He has no counters or even matchups with any other character now.

Pretty much I haven't been following up with brawl at all lately so this is probably true. I stopped playing brawl completely to play melee again because it's just so much more fun and competitive.

yeah when brawl first came out me and my smash crew played for like 2 hours before we were like, "this just makes us want to play melee"

MK has been getting banned for a long time now... Reason is because he can just combo to death, and has so many moves with no recovery at the end.

MK has been getting banned for a long time now... Reason is because he can just combo to death, and has so many moves with no recovery at the end.

That and he can pretty much spam his dsmash after every attack for a finisher. He can chain dsmash faster then people can recover from dodging. among other things. yeah he's amazingly rigged.

I still don't think anyone on this site has enough experience to use him properly though.

You could try to run it how I ran it. It takes commitment from everyone vowing to participate, and a little bit of extra effort on your part to have everything made clear and matched up correctly. Of course the only main issue would be to fit a 5 character setup into something not requiring a ridiculous amount of time. Might I suggest minimizing the number to at least 3? I don't know how you intended on running this, I'm merely suggesting what I found to be the best way to go about it. So if you'd like to try that just search through the ffr events sub forum and you'll find it eventually.

you must haven't seen me use mk then. :9. he wasn't that popular til people suddenly have been using him to his full potential. which ive done before but
i stopped using him. :9 i usually would K0 someone in about 15 sec with him.
