why does it matter how many people post in the postgame?

if people want to talk about the game, they can go there whether the next game is being chosen or not.

Screw intentionally waiting, I'm ready to play.

On a more serious note, post game is productive in helping players realize their mistakes and strengths/weaknesses so that they can improve. Also, once this post is created, many of those people will turn their attention to hosting ideas and looking forward to the next game instead of reflecting on the last game, which is absolutely necessary if you want to become a better player.

                Re: TWG LXXXV: Host Signups!

To actually post something productive, do you think we should establish a certain grace period between endgames and host signups (perhaps 2-3 days) so that everyone has a chance to participate in ample post-game discussion?

                  Re: TWG LXXXV: Host Signups!

It's hard to establish a set time period because some games warrant more discussion than others. I like the current way of host discretion until a reasonable amount of time has passed (at which time a TWC member should make the host sign up, not just some random guy who is tired of waiting).

                      good intentions, bad implementation.

next time, try throwing a PM to the host or something first.

I might forget later, so, I'm going to post a game idea now. It is a game I enjoyed and I overall liked.

If you guys think there should be more players, tell me:

                        TWG LXXXV: ...
                        Wolves:

Psychic Wolf (Works the same way than tha Psychic, is told how many blues are alive in the game)
                        Normal Wolf
Vigibane Wolf (Can't be killed by the Vigilante)

                        Blues:

                        Psychic
Vigilante (Kills a player in the Night Phase)
Wolfsbane (Can't be killed by the wolves)

                        Humans:

Human with Item: Camera (The Camera is an Item used in a Night Phase. The human that haves it can choose a player, and the targeted player's role will be showed at the end of the Night Phase)
                        Human
                        Human
                        Human
                        Human
                        Human

                            Blood Alliance

                            17 players

The worlds of Mafia and The Werewolf Game collide!

2 Werewolves - At night, the werewolves choose one human to satisfy their hunger. The mafia's been moving in on their food, so they're the top targets. They win when the Mafia is dead and they equal or outnumber the humans.

2 Mafia - It started out like just a normal job for the Mafia. They got a hitlist, a location, and the tools of the trade, but when they discover that there are werewolves in their midst, things get interesting. They win when the Werewolves are dead and they equal or outnumber the humans.

1 Seer - Can tell who is cursed by the mark of the beast, but cannot delve into personal connections. Investigates one person a night, but can only detect Werewolves.

                            1 Detective -
A cop who can easily find sings of criminal activity, but is untrained in the occult. Investigates one person a night, but can only detect Mafia.

1 Psychic - Can detect the presence of werewolves, but is unskilled at mind-reading. Is told the number of Werewolves every night.

1 Coroner - Can examine the bodies of the dead and see if they are a Mafia member, but has no knowledge of the signs of lycanthropy. Is told the number of Mafia every night.

1 Guardian - Regular guard, with a bit of a dilemma.

                            8 Civilians
                            - Humans. Win when both Werewolves and Mafia are dead.

                            ---------------------------------------------------------------

Someone host this for me please -- I've always wanted to play a multi-red game.

Question: Would this mean two kills per night phase?

If no one else steps up, I'd try hosting it.
