As you may have noticed from my profile, I have been eagerly anticipating (and by that I mean massively obsessing over) UP. Saw a pre-screen last night.
There were a LOT of funny parts, astounding visuals, great music. A few sad parts (which I cried through) and a few really touching parts (which I also cried through.) This was the Pixar film with the most teary moments to date. I'm a sap.
The story itself was really unique, probably the mot unique of any Pixar film so far. I like all the Pixar movies equally in their own ways, but I'm not sure if I'd rank this higher than WALL-E or Ratatouille.
Overall, it was fantastic.
So go see it.
And if none of the above reasons convince you: it had ****ING TALKING DOGS.
