yeah, the game was hindered due to massive amounts of inactivity. Key players weren't being active enough and everyone who thought they weren't involved actually were.
The game was designed to make players desperate and resort to the impartial human to spread their knowledge. It worked, but only to very limited extent.
errors included:
- players sending more than the single message they were allowed per phase, revealing more info than they were allowed to.
- players not sending any messages at all making the impartial's role halfway unnecessary and easy.
- reds not faking swaps or seerings
- humans not faking being wolves (the whole point behind having the wolves separated, really)
- players trying to get past the law by hinting instead of finding another legit mean to communicate their ideas. Guys, I know this is quite harsh, but the TSFs were strategically placed in order to avoid key players from spreading key information. Hinting is just another way of spreading the very info you're not allowed to spread. I allowed it on a very limited scale because it seemed easier for the players at the time.
Among other smaller things.
Here are the roles and TSFs as of N1

Here are the roles and TSFs as of D2.

The wolves are in order from rep to last subordinate.
Draw your own conclusions.
Here's a list of notes I was making as the game played out:
- Faking TSFs is the worst thing someone could do in this game.
- If Emerald and Vicc used the impartial to get a hold of other wolves they might get a three person alliance and the impartial on their side.
- Players don't understand the death post rules….
- Makilaz better wolf mattc16; that message is way too incriminating.
- Players aren't sending enough messages.
- What the **** is emerald thinking? That wasn't what I pictured the wolves doing to get an alliance going.. Hahaha, interesting nonetheless.
- Furthermore, why isn't Viccica sending messages to the impartial saying that she has contacted emerald (her TSF N1) and that there's a small wolf alliance going? It might set the others at ease, maybe.
- Manti didn't really explain that he was the impartial on day 1, maybe he thought it was clear enough already…
- I really hope meno logs on and actually realizes he's replacing trav. He's the most powerful role right now (D1/N2). If he talks to BDN he'll figure out that Manti is the new guard assuming he got that from what happened N1/D1 or if Manti decides to explain it now (N2).
- Manti better guard himself, rofl.
- Sorry, clarinet, the roles were switched. Players hold TSF status, not their roles. So, if Manti was replaced by BDN as the impartial, manti takes BDN's spot (meaning he has BDN's exTSF, clarinet) and BDN takes Manti's spot (meaning, he doesn't have a TSF anymore becuase manti didn't have one to begin with.) whoever has BDN as a TSF would still have him as his TSF. Manti isn't anyone's TSF and he doesn't know it. Shame. He's unseerable. She didn't need to send that message though... she should have been approached by manti. Maybe he hasn't yet..?
- People aren't faking roles and swaps enough for the game to work, maybe. It's still n2 so we'll see who send messages….
- Spyke?
- I expected makilaz to kill mattc16 on the spot after tht message was sent.
- If Manti guards himself then JTB has a very easy alliance going on. Manti can't reveal his TSF info to JTB but JTB (having seered manti) should know Manti has a blue TSF. Technically speaking, manti should tell clarinet and she should contact JTB. Human alliance with clarinet at the center.
- Hopefully meno will log on, god. He's the most important wolf at the moment and could get a three wolf alliance going if he comes around.. It looks like he's going to get lynched D2. Vicc should take notice and send a lynch guard to keep him alive through to the night giving him more time to actually log on. All wolves could know each other through this, actually. AND they know who the impartial is.
- Meno logged on!
- Manti died! What a shame. He should've guarded himself. Clarinet is an unlikely n1 or n2 kill, especially if she doesn't appear suspicious.
- I wonder if BDN has spoken with meno. Meno should get on that before mattc16 does… mattc16 doesn't really know much information at all at the moment so he's not going to be usefulk to the wolves… but the wolves might turn useful to him if meno contacts BDN and fails to convince him to play for the wolves. Meno could work as a bridge between the wolves and the impartial for two day phases before he he can actually die (assuming viccica guards him). Meno is sooooooooooooooo important it's ridiculous.
- Maki just tried to reach out to the wolves. Emerald should probably reply trough the impartial telling him to go to meno (if he gets guarded, not to mention that I trust makilaz to do it out of his own intuition) or to find some other way to get together.
- Wolves have such a huge advantage. It all really depends on how active they decide to be. Had manti guarded himself he would have had an awesome alliance to counter the wolves. At this point the only thing that'll save the humans is wolf inactivity imo.
- People still aren't sending enough messages. Every time messages go out the impartial has only teceivedthe minimum three required to send.
Again, draw your own conclusions.
I made the game in hopes to experiment with censorship rules. The rules have to be strict in order for the game to work. Now that we understand that maybe we'll be able to host it again some other time. I thought it was an interesting, fun concept so I'd be willing to play it if given the chance.
GG guys, it was a good attempt.
