    Boys iPod Touch "pops" and burrns his pants and leg...

    This is an interesting story that a friend of mine showed me the other day, it's about a 15-year-old kid who had an "iTouch" in his pocket where it "popped" and preceded to light his pants on fire...

              I guess that something somewhat similar has happened before... I guess that a charging cable started burning once and it burned the cable and the slot to where the cable goes in. But yea, that must've been a very bad day to be a guy... with an iTouch in his pocket...

                      i laughed at this part. im sure the makers of the itouch ran many tests but because the device had not exploded while in someone's possession, i don't see the need for them to warn everyone that it might explode if they buy it. probably lose sales if they did that.

                      but because this did happen, im sure something will be done, probably a small label on the box

                      ps. for the bolded part, the first thing that came to my head was a retarded person hitting themselves with an itouch.

                          I've never heard of this happening. Welcome to what happens when you put technology in the palm of a retard's hand. Doesn't matter how high-spec the **** is, if you put it in the hands of an ape, funny things happen.

                                      Or, go under the table with it all. Ask for $500,000 even to keep it all quiet and just let them put up the warning publicity free. If they refuse, you can sue.

                                                  Nice. I'm gonna purposely have my laptop explode on me in an airplane and sue HP for a quarter grand.

                                                  EDIT: I'll sue the airlines too since that's where it happened. After all, if somebody breaks into your house and hurts themselves, they can sue you and win.
