Robertsona Music, now with 100% less suck!

I now, at my school, use a Roland Juno-D keyboard and GarageBand (lmao shut up) to type everything out basically. COOLER THAN FL STUDIO OK?

    two new songs:

    the fifth perfection

The fifth perfection: I began to listen to and was like oh this song is a headache waiting to happen when the same note was hit on the piano over and over and over, but once it picked up it was quite good. I haven't listened to the second one yet, but I will edit this post in a sec after I do.

8.5/10 on the first song, and I judge strictly. (for the most part)

Time Travel: Didn't like it. It was really repetitive and well the horn I think it was? Well yea it didn't flow nicely into the music.

    4/10

I guess try to make the piano a little less repetitive and use a larger variety of sounds for the time travel.

Please note that I don't have any knowledge about composing music at all, whatsoever.

I'd suggest selecting a different synth or whatever for that trumpet-like thing (enters at :52 or so) in Travel Time, it feels ill fitting and sounds kind of cheesy to me -- the melody itself is probably okay though. While I like the piano bit itself, I think it's maybe too fast, some of the notes (or all, idk) could stand to be sustained for a little longer. Whatever comes in around :20 is nice, the percussion isn't bad but feels somewhat generic, maybe try reworking it a bit or something. Liked the voice synth, also. While not the most prominent part of the song, it was a good touch.

In comparison to Travel Time, The Fifth Perfection seemed a bit flatter to me, at least from the beginning. Both tracks admittedly felt sort of homogeneous in the way they were composed, as far as instrument introductions go.

I liked the instrument selection in The Fifth Perfection a lot better (except perhaps the introductory one, which isn't awful but doesn't bode well with me, either), and aside from the beginning, quite liked it. It could stand to be a bit less repetitive, perhaps, but this is probably just me being incredibly picky or so.

Also I'm not familiar with either song you listed as an inspiration, so idk how those would sound in compare to your tracks, etc. Would you care to link to them or something?

Time Travel reminded me of 16-bit VGmusic but the piano part was way too repetitive to keep me interested.

Didn't like The Fifth Perfection for whatever reason. Just didn't do much for me.

Pretty good, gave my opinion on one of them. Couldn't really think of any critique for the other one. Good listen.
