    song is lagging in speed

    I have done the check for virus and the updates. My connection is between good and very good. The songs load up fine. Then when it came to hitting the arrows I noticed that the timing was off on the speed. I'm not using XP software, but vista.

      Does this mean the arrows are going slower, the arrows seem to teleport, or if the offset is off?

      The first one means arrow slowdown, which is a form of cheating. Reinstall flash, and downgrade to Adobe 9. Use FF or IE as your browser, and make sure you don't have external programs running.

      Second one is lag. Deal.

      Third one is unfixable. Deal.

      Make sure its not your own skill either, though I really don't have to say that.

      One new thing I found out: If you use norton antivirus programs, check your taskbar and see if the program LUCOMS~.EXE or LuCallbackProxy.exe is running. if so, just wait til it disappears. That causes major lag on all programs, and is a live update execution. Wait it out, because it occupies some of your ram.

          In addition to the anti-virus mentioned by Midday, NOD32 uses a program called ekrn.exe for HTTP traffic monitoring. In any case, just temporarily disable it.

              OK I just uninstaller the flash player. Then reinstalled it. The speed of the arrows are faster, but still lag here and there.

                  Vista lags. I don't know if you even can fix it. Find a computer running XP or run a virtual machine with XP (if this is possible? I hear virtual machines are pretty cool)
