Yeah, no I am not rejoicing. This is another one of those "A healthy game that needs to be incorporated in schools across the world" type deal that is meant for classrooms full of kids.
I will stick to hacked dedicabs playing customs and other hard "official" songs the ITG community makes.
LOL @ another Konami lawsuit down the road

I've come to the assumption that you are either Miley Cyrus yourself being you are not a young kid trying to defend her, or you are indeed Chris Crocker, you related her to Britney Spears...If you took this paragraph seriously, just quit the internet lol
Okay, good idea for tournaments and the like, but can you imagine this in an arcade? Good luck finding eight people who want to play the same difficulty on one song.
EDIT: okay nevermind i went through the screenshots
I see no mention of RoXoR, and there is no mention of this on RoXoR's website either. What leads you to believe it's from the same people?
Anyway, I never really got it. Why doesn't Konami make a deal with RoXor? Why not make a game called "Dance Dance Revolution: In the Groove", and have RoXoR develop it? The game might not turn out exactly like Konami would like, so they could just force RoXoR to use a certain number of crappy license songs in addition to some Konami in-house and "typical" ITG fare. Then everyone would be happy.
umm what are you trying to get at? this has been happening for a while, i.e. the multiplayer stepmania engine, like since In The Groove began, it's contstantly posted about on the stepmania.com website. According to chris danford and kyle ward they made the 64 player version when they first made the engine. As an ITG player this is very very far from exciting news for me, epic fail.

as Afro said... the RoXoR team is basically the SM Dev team, for the most part... and they're all working on PIU Pro. ps - teaser... i'm in talks with kyle ward about MFA/Suport Tokens.
after about 60 seconds of research here: http://www.positivegaming.com/index.php?id=38 , positive gaming is a Norwegian company that started by making DDR tournaments, then moved into selling DDR cabs, then started selling ITG cabs/home games in Europe, then apparently moved into making their own game. i don't think they had anything to do with publishing of ITG... just selling it in Europe.
