Help me get rid of this little annoyance? :)

Okay, not really a "problem", it's not slowing down my computer, just pissing me off a bit.

This blank "program" appeared in the taskbar for the first time when I started my computer this morning. I restarted my computer, only to find that it appeared again upon startup.
I'm not sure what process it is, so I don't know what process to kill.
I just want it to disappear. XD

    Thanks in advance.

    CTRL ALT DELETE?

    Did you try that?

      Right click - close
Ctrl-Alt-Del - Remove processes one by one until you find it.
      etc.

I mean it's a program on your computer, but as it is showing like that I have no idea which program it is.

        Right clicking does nothing.
I don't want to accidentally abort some process that might really make this computer go crazy.
        Brb, getting my process list.

Okay, could you point it out from here?

When you cancel a CAD process it's only temporary until the next time you start up your computer. You won't damage your computer by doing it.

Not to mention you can just go to run and type in the processes to run again.

Go through them all, removing one by one, until that blank thing disappears. Then you know what it is, you can restart your computer so it's all ok again before going and removing the process.

I've had these before, and they are usually, you can call it, a "shell" of a program you have been using, has been outdated, had been used previously, or corrupted. You should once in a while delete from the program list, everything you don't ever touch anymore which just takes up more and more space, and won't affect or harm your computer in any way.

Test out some methods, and hopefully you can find a solution sooner or later.

Okay. Got it on the first try, woot.
It was WZCSLDR2.exe, whatever that is. o_O
              Thanks a bunch, guys.

No problem. Just try to clean up your computer more regularly, it may stop things like this happening.

wzcsldr2.exe is a process associated with ALPHA Networks Wireless driver. It loads on Windows start up. Disabling it might cause problems with your wireless network device.

just thought you'd like to know xD

if you aren't sure about a process just search it on the web and it'll tell you what it's related to and will usually have a fix on a forum if you're having problems with it.

If it is starting up on your computer when you restart, Try going to

Run --> Type "msconfig" --> Go to "Startup" Tab --> Find what you want to show up on startup.

You should see items such as AIM or MSN if you have it, just enable the boxes you want on startup, and see if that helps. :]

Would Avast! Antivirus Home Edition be sufficient?
My grandmother uses ad-aware, and I must say, I don't really like it.

Whoa, scary. But I've never heard of ALPHA Networks. My router and all technology associated with it is by D-Link and Network Magic.

Wouldn't control + alt + Delete , then task bar, then clicking on Applications, and just end whatever was running would of been easier?

Yeah but it was blank. It wouldn't of shown up in the task manager.
