    just made 1000$ in less than 2 minutes.

    so i was playing some high stakes no limit holdem, was dealt pocket aces, and won over 1000$ in less than 2 minutes. whos gud?

    EDIT: chances are this couldve been brag board too

                  I'm curious as to what kind of stakes you were playing.

                  You're also rather lucky you won with AA if you went all-in.

                                              Actually, no, I do. I stole all of the $500s out of the bank. Sully, you can have the $100s. The rest of you can all scramble for the $50s and under, maybe try to pawn off the little race car for a couple of bucks.

                                                  so, either you lost a bunch since then... or you took down a $1000 pot. in which case, you clearly didn't win $1000, since you had to put money up as well (likely ~half).

                                                  congrats, i guess. *shrugs*. there have been too many live hands where i've won/lost $1000 to really care at this point. plus, you aren't even old enough to gamble legally. even online. i'm notifying pokerstars on you.


                                                  edit: Crashfan... the US banking system does not have $500 bills that are in circulation. there are $500 bills, but good luck trying to get your hands on one. Banks certainly don't carry them.

                                                          AA is the best hand to start out with, but it doesn't necessarily mean I want it to begin with. I'd much rather take suited face cards.
