I remembered Chrissi's thread from a while back, and it inspired me to make this thread.

Are there any others here?

I've been a vegetarian for 3-4 years.

Vegetarians: What caused you to change your lifestyle? Do you ever cheat (eat meat once in a while)?

Vegans: Do you live a healthy lifestyle..? I've never tried being a vegan myself.

If you eat fish, you're not a vegetarian, sorry.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't like the taste of meat, and I eat more vegetables than all the people I know combined.

I ate the most delicious steak ever yesterday.

To be honest, I don't see the point in being vegetarian. I can't even think of any reason why being one would be a good thing.

vegetarians are ctually bad you see.
plants and vegetables create oxygen as a byproduct of photosynthesis. And cows are big and fat and polute methane gases and whatnot. so eat a cow to save the envirement and save plants!

it's mostly just for one's self, when i used to eat meat, i progressively started to feel worse about eating animals. knowing that you're eating flesh doesn't help either.

if there were more vegetarians, the supply of meat would go down, because less cows would be needed. the reason that there is so much methane is because of the large surplus of cows that are raised for the sole purpose of being eaten. if the cow is never born then there is no methane :]
