    General Issues (Not a Real Big Deal)

    Hey, I'm currently traveling a good deal and i'm now staying at my brothers house in illonois (not that that's a real important detail, just pointing out that I often play ffr and know a fair amount about what the actual bugs are(which aren't worth mentioning as i'm sure they've been mentioned, several... times)) Just having some technical issues on my brother's computer... note that, he is somewhat in the country, and so with dsl it's very very slow connectivity, but i'm pretty sure this issues deals in computer settings or somehting.

    The game loads fully but then stops at "Loading data and Modules... Please be patient"... I don't know if maybe the comptuer is blocking something with this process or what, but if anyone has any clue as to how to fix this, woudl be an awesome help. If not, it's cool too, i'll only be here a week or so.

      Firewall <- turn off
      Cache <- clear
      Flash <- reinstall

          heh. Midday has seen my attempts at troubleshooting enough to hit all 3 of the things i'd suggest. although maybe not in the order i'd have suggested. no biggie.

          a 4th suggestion... possibly try a different browser.

              KK, new browser for me as well, i'll just have to figure out how the clear the cache with internet explorer (mozilla ff fan myself). Thanks, though since i've never loaded the game on here till today, i'd think it would work alright, but maybe odd timing with the update and whatnot.... i'll see if i can work with the cache settings.

                  Delete Browsing History
                  Temporary Internet Files and Cookies was sufficient iirc

                      Fixed, yeah just cleared the ol cache goodness. Thanks alot guys.

                      Tasselfoot, I hear alot about you (which makes sense), good stuff you run, good stuff indeed... A bit out of place, though I appreciate what you do and thus owe such comment.
