    Gambling for the House

Does anyone else find it at least a little annoying that 1% goes to the house? Why does this have to happen? I can understand casinos, where it's actual money that is limited. However, these are credits, of which there are an infinite supply. So, this just makes people scrambling to get back their credits have to work that much harder..

Because Tass wants credit inflation to stop. Same reason we have to pay so much more for the new purchased song.
Best Scores: Love-Colored Master Spark AAA, Mute City Remix AAA, Over the Rave AAA, TGWP3 3 good.

      I'm not good anymore.

It matters when making a bunch of bets and you end up losing just a little each time. So that combined with when you lose, even if you make up for the losses, you are in the negatives. Really screws up chances if you are trying to make it back to a big number or something to get back everything.

You do not have to gamble though.

Gambling system was a bad idea to begin with. It makes it less of an accomplishment when you dont have to play the game to get your credits.

That's the only thing I disliked about it all. You can make 100,000+ credits in a few minutes.

....or you could lose all the credits you have. it works both ways.

and, as has been said... the 1% is the keep the overall credits in the economy in check. there's been nothing to spend credits on in years, and as such, credit counts have ballooned. this is part of my campaign to make credits meaningful, and i think everyone can already see that they're becoming meaningful. just wait until all the purchased and secret songs are released and you guys can't afford them.

oh the bitching that will be had.

well. i didn't know about the purchased genre being fixed when we did the gambling. besides.... i like the gambling. you only don't like it because you lost hundreds of thousands of credits. you enjoyed it greatly when you were winning hundreds of thousands of credits.

Oh don't get me wrong. I don't care about it either way. But if you really want to take that argument then i guess you like it because you have infinite credits and can laugh at everyone losing their credits.

If only our real life economy were this easy to control...

Also, I want a 1% tax on every credit earned through gameplays. We could set up a banking system of sorts and totally make an FFReconomy. People would be learning loads :O

i like it because the users are using it (110,000+ bets placed and accepted to date). and because it is doing what i wanted it to do...

also, for the most part, the users enjoy it. even if many did lose all their credits. it can be a valuable life lesson with no actual money lost in the process. i'm like Mr Rogers.

The 600 or so credits I have left is worth more than the 40000$ I have at disposal. I want to play Szerencsetlen [/whine]
