Chrono Trigger for Nintendo DS announced

that's right finally the dreams of those who wanted a Remake of Chrono Trigger has been granted, square enix already launched a countdown web page and everything so is officially announced.

Find in-depth gaming news and hands-on reviews of the latest video games, video consoles, and accessories.

i myself think this was one of the Best RPGs on the SNES and sadly i didn't manage to beat it because of certain reasons so i will be more than happy to buy it for the DS when it comes out.

It's not exactly an announcement if they haven't announced it.

But we all know it's coming.

I don't know if I'll get it unless they add some new stuff to make it different enough from the SNES version.

Just because I played the SNES version enough and wouldn't want to play it again.

Dont get your hopes up, with every single super nintendo classic remade for a portable system has been crappy easy. FF3 easy on DS, hard on nintendo, FF4 remake on gba, easy on gba, hard on SNES, ff5 and ff6, easy on gba, hard on SNES

This is just going to follow in those foot steps, easy on DS, hard on SNES

I actually enjoyed the FFIV advance game for GBA. Though yes, it was easier.

If it was an identical port that retailed for around $20 I would get it.

So they're adding multiplayer mode and a new dungeon. I wonder how MP's gonna work out. :|

I really don't wanna wait for this.

you kidding??? FFIII on DS was really hard. and FFIV is suposed to be harder than the original versions because the bosses have been buffed up.

well usually DS remakes come with more than just graphical updates, i'm sure it will be 40 bucks and since i haven't played chrono trigger in a long time (and when i played it i didn't know a word in english) so i really want to play this one

Somebody said it was just a port with touch controls. In other words...don't hope for a completely revamped game. Square Enix is too lazy to do that.

Bosses werent buffed up at all LMAO, I beat ff4 on gba at level 30, its to easy and many people agree with me, unless your just a final fantasy noob who doesn't know a true difficult final fantasy game/version

Face the facts, FF4 is 3 times harder on SNES than it will ever be on any other console/handheld system

                              Same with every other rpg
