Try using random with a range of difficulty that include the song you got a mental block on and don't use sound.
2nd option is that you need a distraction to not completely panic at the mental block spot (lol p0rn).
I also suggest playing a lot on a very high speedmod and going down after so it gives the illusion that the game is slower.
Also, it obviously depends of what song you got a mental block on..Comment

When I first joined I used to play on upscroll, but eventually tired of this, so I downscroll now. Wouldn't know how it effects mirroring though.
I suggest the opposite. If you are using a speed mod like x1.75 or x2.0, try playing at least 20 games of x1.0 screencut (even if you can't screencut worth crap). After that, jump right back into the speed mod you are using and it will be like a whole new mod.
Lastly, don't whore the song! No joke. Don't. Play other stuff. When you see the pattern after not looking at it for a while, it will be fresh in your mind. Also, I'm sure you need help on Pure in Asia, but I don't mind helping you at all. You have potential to go far in D4, so I hope you do well.Originally posted by knuckles2224Comment

Man, villie....I used to be able to get through the roll section at around 430 with 0-2 goods before it gets back into the jumpstream, but now I can't even COMBO that section, and if I do, I'll get 7+ goods
I'm trying not to whore anymore like you said, but I feel retarded knowing everyone else managed to aaa this thing perfectly fine...I've probably played the song more than 300 times
