I have questions about switching to spread.

I decided to change from one hand to spread, and I really don't know much about it.
Please tell me basics about spread.

Use the "Edit" button next time so you don't double post.
Removed a .gif image so your total signature size isn't well over 1MB. Keep this in mind for the future.

Re: I have questions about switching to spread.

Couldn't you do this in your initial thread?

Anyway, you can use the search function to find similar threads... but for the lazy:

        1) Keymaps. Most people who play spread change their keymaps to something along the lines of z x . / or a s k l. Why? Because it feels more natural. When you do change your keymaps, make sure you test input it on a different program to see if you can do quads (register simultaneously).
        2) Practicing. First, make every arrow lane a natural reaction for each of your fingers. I assume you know what spread is. Practice easy songs to make each individual arrow a natural bodily reflex. Then, work on jumps, hands, and quads. Make each individual arrow pattern a natural reflex.
        3) Training. After you got initial practicing down, go play difficult - challenging. Make bodily reflexes out of more complex patterns such as streams, jumpstreams, jacks, triplets, staircases, trills, gallops, bursts, rolls, etc. Memorizing these patterns may take a while, but be patient. Make sure you play a variety of files as to avoid mental blocks that could end up being permanent or habitual.
        4) Mastering. Beat an FMO FGO. End of story. You enhance most of your PA at this point. MA if you play SM.

        Woot. Spread.
