    Random Misses/Boos

    Now I know that sicne AvMiss fix has come out, there is some random misses and boos, but all of a sudden it has gone way out of whack.

    I went to play Blue Rose today, and as I was playing I was getting random boos and misses. I would hit a jump PERFECTLY and one of them would keep going, saying that I missed.

    I thought it was the keys I was using, I suspected maybe they were finally giving out from all the keytapping. I switched configuration from AS;' to QW[]. Same exact problem. I tried playing a different song and it was still happening. It sure as hell wasn't lag, it wasn't jumping or lagging or anything like that at all, I was just playing and getting random misses and boos.

    Is FFR going through an update or something? Because the next round for the tourney starts tomorrow and I won't be able to get through getting random misses and boos like this. =(

      I noticed this issue myself. During play, occasionally I'll hit a jump and one of the two arrows in the next 5 seconds or so will miss entirely...hitting triples is even worse. It started a few days ago for me....I thought it was my keyboard, but seeing how others have the same issue, it's more than likely a glitch.

          Never had any problems with random misses, and as for boo's, it's my keyboard that gives them, I'm sure of that, sometimes when typing it hit's a key twice, I just have to tap the keys a bit lighter for that problem. Try using another keyboard, that is most likely the problem, I only get random boo's with my laptop-like keyboard.

              My keyboard is a bit sensative so I'm usually boo flagging things and stuff like that. Just don't pound it.
              Removed a .gif image so your total signature size isn't well over 1MB. Keep this in mind for the future.

                  I treid pressing it lightly and pressing it a bit harder, didn't make a difference.

                  Thing is, SM works fine.

                      I'm exactly the same, and I agree that you should use another keyboard.

                              Have to agree with this. There are times where i do get random misses as well and then all of a sudden I am missing the next 6 or so arrows when i am perfectly sure I am hitting them.

                                  It's the frame arrow's new version of what I think is the avg/miss. Instead of avg/miss though if you miss an earlier note with the same arrow, it'll try to contact that arrow instead of perfecting the next arrow giving the boo first, then the miss after. I've checked it myself on the fmo's since 3 or less framers became more often.

                                      I haven't been noticing random misses, but I do notice a few boos where they weren't there before. I'd just do an easy tap on a single note and it'd be like perfect than boo. I don't know if the key's just randomly registering twice because I drew off for a sec or what, but there are definitely some out of character boos that I'm getting.

                                          Im using my laptop keys. While playing Indulge, at the same spot, at about the 40 combo I would hit a jump and get one miss. (This was today.)

                                          I would have scores like 42 perfects one miss. It was the same jump each time. I noticed it again in Strange program and GGC aswell. It was always on a jump, which I hit perfectly but received one perfect and one miss.

                                          I have really only played SM on my laptop but played some FFR on it today. I don't have the problem on SM.

                                              i tend to get random misses/boos on occasion in fast jumpstreams where i'll miss a jump and then miss the next like 12 arrows even though i know im hitting them. this happens to me everytime after the super trill on crowdpleaser

                                                  Honestly I've seen this Problem a lot myself. It's always a Jump.. and I either miss one time.. and then come back and boo
                                                  And I know I don't double tap cause the way I one hand makes it impossible to Double Tap..
                                                  This may need to be looked into.

                                                      Yeah this happens to me too. I thought it might be because i suck at jumps/jumpstreams but ive tried easier songs and notice that even when i hit it perfectly i get a boo or even a miss. and ive also noticed that at least for me it happens on <> jumps more than any other jumps

                                                          Keyboard maybe? A lot of cheap keyboards can't hit certain key combinations (I know a lot of the keyboards at my school can't use the askl keys, because if you hit more than 2 notes with the 'k' key in it, it just won't work)...

                                                          Try mapping your keys differently a whole bunch... If this is indeed a software problem, I don't know what the problem would be, since I haven't noticed it.
