    More Mainstream Pretty Please!

    I know that this will be hard BUT could you please get more mainstream/popular songs on FFR.
    Like...
    Beyonce
    Usher
    Justin Timberlake etc.
    I know it will be hard but please cause some of the songs here are terrible. And if we do have songs like that that are by popular artists and are poppy/rnb. Please lemme know!

      maybe Yeah by usher would be good i guess

      But most mainstream people=bad FFR but good publicity =/

          If you want mainstream music, then you ask them yourself. Go on their website/myspace, or use whatever means to contact them. Ask them if you can get their permission to use their song in a DDR based game, Flash Flash Revolution. Include what other artists FFR currently has permission for, etc... Also include how many users are on FFR, and how many are online daily.

              Easier said than done honestly. What you're asking for is to obtain permission from major record labels. That's not an easy task, and it's hard to get free permission for (they're in the business of expecting payment for song usage, it's part of how they make money).

              Also, you stated that the songs are terrible, which is a fairly subjective term. In the event they really were all that terrible, people would not step them, nor would people play them. Please consider this before asserting the right to indicate the quality of songs.

                  Hence we resort to amateur artists who have no company dominating the rights to the artists' own original work. OSTER Project, for example.

                      Why mainstream music? It's terrible for stepping to.

                      And most of the "mainstream" stuff is terrible to listen to nowadays too.

                      Plus impossible to get permission to.

                      Lots of other reasons to say no as well.

                          If you guys dont like the music please dont say that its terrible for FFR. You guys get the type of music you want. But every time i come here the songs i play to are fun but not the best FOR ME. So i wanted to dance to something i like. And dont worry i Will get the permession. Labels are hard to get to but there not evil.

                                  i would actually suggest not contacting them... we have pre-established relationships with many of the major labels, and we work with them on almost a daily basis in terms of artist promotion.

                                  if you want mainstream music... play our widgets. We have tons of mainstream artists. I won't even bother giving the full list, it's too large. Check out the selection yourself.
