    Attention all Touhou players!!!

    I need some help.
    I redownloaded Imperishable Night, and for some reason when I play it I have no sound.

    I'm not sure if something is wrong with the file, or perhaps maybe my sound card...but Touhou isn't the same without BGM and SFX.

    Help me out soon please.

      That sucks. Very much. So.

      I never played that version, but if it's like some of the others then the volume on the game might be lower then every other program. This sounds stupid but, make sure you check the volume on the game AND the comp.

      Besides that, what comp/card?

          First, obviously, make sure that if you go into options the sound is on and junk.

          If that doesn't do anything, go into your Imperishable Night folder, and look for a huge file called thbgm. If it's not called that, well, you can find out by looking for a file that's like 440 MB. If it's not there, then that explains it. If it is there, then I don't know.

              Yeah, the sound is on, its set to .wav and both of them are at 100%.
              I have the THBGM .DAT file.
              I tried some of the other touhou games and all of them don't have sound either.
              I'm going to try to restart my pc real quick and see if that helps.


              EDIT!!!
              Restart did not work. Still no sound at all.
              My pc is custom built, by a friend, so I am not sure what kind of motherboard it has.
              The soundcard is an EMU-0404-PCI.

                  My suggestion would be to redownload them if all of them have the same problem.
                  Best Scores: Love-Colored Master Spark AAA, Mute City Remix AAA, Over the Rave AAA, TGWP3 3 good.

                      I've had issues like this with WoW and such.

                      What I did was I went under Control Panel, went into Audio Center(whatever it's called) and cranked up the output.
