Congratulations on 5 years of FFR. I think my best memory of this site would probably be the descussion on sex before marrige in CT a while ago. That really made me think about a lot of the things in my life, being catholic and all. My other best memory was beating my friend who was WAY better than me when we started this game.

As for the question:
When I got recognition and compliments for the first track I released. Easily one of the best days of my budding music life.

I think this is the greatest thread I have ever seen. No, that is not sarcastic.

Though I now feel very inferior, I will still answer. I think my most memorable moment since I've been here (October 12th, 2007) would be when I started dating my girlfriend, on March 23rd.

Second to that would have to be meeting my 3 greatest friends, emerald000, Makilaz, and funmonkey54. They've really made my life a better place.

Lame as it may be, AAAing Etude to a Dragon one handed after so long of wanting that AAA was my most memorable moment. I don't know my BEST off the top of my head, I just know that AAA comes to mind pretty quickly. I threw myself a mini party in my living room and everything.

My best memory of this site in the almost 3.5 years I've been here was FCing Air and having vets who I've watched in the forums lurking as usual being like 'wow nice fc' or 'omg, i haven't even done that yet.'

I'd have to agree with Kiwi about TGB. Not as good as it used to be. 3 years ago you could visit TGB each day and get a good laugh out of whatever.

I miss the golden age (of stepmania). If you don't know what that was, then you probably came after or right at the end of the golden age. This was about when I started to post (I believe) and when the community really helped me grow. They were very helpful to me as a new member and really impacted my view on the community.

Some of these guys didn't even read the entire first post.

One of my most memorable moments on FFR was getting perma banned for 6 months about 2 years ago. I was really surprised to see that the site loaded again after that time period. I had almost completely forgotten about FFR by the time I came back.

What else... well, when Windscarred became Mod. I remember her and I acting like giddy fangirls when Shash first became Mod, haha.

Wow... I feel like I've been here forever, when it's really only been just under a year and a half.
I'm somewhat anti-social and don't catch a lot of the things that happen here, but I'd say my best memory was signing up for FFR Official Tournament #2. Although I was one of the first to be knocked out, because I could barely pass Tricky songs at the time, it was still fun. I never did get to join the third one, however, because I had quit FFR over last summer, and came back just as it was ending...

I'm still trying to get better as fast as I can so I'll be ready if there's ever a fourth one.

EDIT: I just realized, I'm getting real close to 1000 posts. And it's taken me this long?!

My best memories are becoming friends with such a wide variety of people on this site. It's great to meet a new person and just talk with them a little everyday and soon become their great friend. Something else i love is where all my friends live. Florida, Michigan, Holland, England, California, etc. The friends I have been lucky enough to make while being on this site give me the best experiences/memories and i wouldn't change that for anything.

Well the best experience I've had with FFR would probably be the convention where I got to hang out with Hammy, psychopete, jellygod, Ricky, Sprite, Manti, lump, thunder, flipsta, synth, jason, maldon, nestle, and tass. Seeting everyone in person and actually being able to have a conversation about FFR was a neat experience. Plus Tass called me "All That" after I sang Say It Ain't So on Rock Band <3.

On the site in general, when I first started playing it was fun playing challenges with my freshman roommate and laughing our asses off failing trying to mash hellbeat. Playing through Max Forever for the first time was a lot of fun (I was one-handed and sucked, it was really hard for me then). Meeting all sorts of friends in prochat was a lot of fun back in the day. On the forums when I read like 200 pages of This Looks Shopped in a weekend I regularly had to stop reading to keep from pissing myself laughing. More recently the Ghost of the Revolution text-adventure rpg with fishfish has been a ball.

Can't wait to be a part of the 4-year club which happens later this month.
