    The movie Shutter

    Sucked! In the end they turned teh half-assed horror movie into a love story. I don't recommend seeing it.

      It came from the producers of The Ring and The Grudge, what'd you expect? The Ring or Grudge wasn't scary, you expect another movie they produce would be scarier?

          Touche'. It was way to predictable and the plot was trash. Like Disturbia.

                              And yet some people find newer movies scary. I still like watching horror movies just to see a person die....man that sounds bad

                                      Shutter (North American version) is based on the Original Thailand Horror movie which was truly one of the scariest movies to date.

                                      I haven't seen the North American version however I can predict that they butchered it.

                                          Both Ring and Grude were also based on movies from different countries and the original versions weren't scary, just boring. I'm sure it's the same with the original Shutter

                                              They butchered it. Can anyone recommend an actual scary movie?

                                              Some of the cinematography is pretty decent, though.

                                                  I'm asian. Friend saw it. Came to school today. Told me about it. Said something about asians being creepier than white people. Now I want to see the movie.

                                                          Yeah, I would recommend I Am Legend. Most people I know didn't find it post-horror. I did. The realism depicted in that movie was astonishing, I've asked a few scientists who say that it's realistic, just not to that extent.
