I can play some songs. but i really want to beat the song Emerald sword. the thing that makes me fail is that i cant see what notes i have to hit. how can i get better at it to beat the song and other fast ones like that?

Can't see what notes you have to hit as in...the arrows seem to be on top of each other and you can't tell if you're supposed to hit an arrow once or twice? Or do you mean something else?
Have you tried using a C-mod? I was stuck at a certain skill level for a really long time until I figured out how C-mods work, and everything became a lot easier.fgsfds -

Practice! I can see all the notes, but my fingers are too slow
. I play with one hand on the arrow keys. I can do patterns for short bursts (like maybe 20 steps) with 16ths @ like 235 BPM, but that's my max. How fast is Emerald Sword?

1.Using C-Mod
2.Get a noteskins which you can do your best on
3.try edit mode and pratice the part that you can't pass like 2 - 3 times a day
4.Play more songs ,and dont quit stepmania for more than 1 week ,it will make your skill turn horrible
