I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to ask this, but hopefully, I am!
So I'm a strange sort of singer-- I've never wanted to be a totally solo vocalist, and as such have always done ensembles, theater, or whatever-have-you, like providing vocals for instrumentalists. I've been a fan of all sorts of techno/trance/electronic music for the last three years now and it's been a nagging curiosity of mine to work in a music project. (Maybe I've been listening to too much ATB.)
I don't know where to start, though; so my question to artists is this-- is there a specific community or website that you go to when you want to look for collaborators, or is it more of a this-person-knows-this-person thing? I'm an online amateur voice actress, but aside from that, I don't know of any hardcore vocal/musical communities. VAing is fun, but singing and music are really what I love more.
