because it's the original hard level on FFR (to some extent)... it's an extremely well know "fast" piece of classical music... so everyone knows it. as such, they like playing it.

plus, it's less than 1 minute long, so it's easily re-playable. 3 runs of FotBB is faster than 1 run of GGC, if you pass.

hope that gives some logical explanations.

Yes, it is a fast piece of classical music. It leaves my skin on the guitar strings...

I guess timewise, it is more enjoyable (not to me of course...) and maybe the fact that its a single arrow stream from start to end. Ok. Thanks Tass.

I should've asked this some time ago and on a separate thread, but what does it mean when people say I'm invisible on the forums? How do I change it?

Smashworthy... hmm... I beg to differ, Frictional Nevada seems more smashworthy, but whenever I face a newbie on mp that knows FotBB and FN chooses FotBB because it requires less mashing to pass...

Obviously Fotbb... Uhm, blue notes=old ffr=FOTBB
Uhm, color notes=new ffr=Balloon

Balloon is a lot newer then fotbb..

when they say your invisible, it means your invisibily option is checked off, just click here: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...do=editoptions and uncheck invisible mode if you want to be visible. It doesnt make that much of a difference though, only difference is where it says currently active users viewing this thread, your name wont appear.

Haha, I was curious at first too!
When I started playing FFR in the school computers, some of my friends in class decided to follow. They were surfing around on the genre's, and found Classical. They were like "ooh FotBB, the only song I know!", and they click it.

Maybe that's why.

Balloon still came before FFR advanced from 4ths, 8ths and 16ths, though it did have a few random purple notes which fascinated me at the time.

As long as I can remember FFR I can remember this file very well. It was the first file I saw someone play and the first file I played. This was back a year before I registered my first account. Which was mid 2003, out of anything I can remember on FFR back in the day it was "omg he's so good he can pass FOTBB!!!!"

Haha in the school library, this guy was playing FotBB. It impressed me, I started playing that night. Now I can actually play FotBB song, and I pwn that guy XD
But its impressive if you can pass it if you're playing in front of a bunch of noobs I guess.

yay. I went from 298 combo to 341 combo on fotbb. Boosted me from 500+ to 300+ in avg lvl rank... T_T. I will hate it forever. Dang it, play Frictional Nevada at school... XD. And I thought Balloon Fever had pink notes before...? Or I'm just misinformed.
