Tomoyo After: It's A Wonderful Life

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but...

I'm having trouble with this cg game by Key. It's the sequel to CLANNAD for all those people who watch the anime, or have played the game, 2 through 5 years after Sakagami Tomoyo and Okazaki Tomoya start going out. (There are no more spoilers from this point on) The problem is, the words of the dialogue are not coming out properly... They're all like l *!&#^$^#(*$&(&$^ ish, and I can't understand anything that's going on, except for the dialogue that comes with audio. I can beat the game, but I can't tell if I'm getting through the best way or not, and I don't want to have to try every single combination of choices throughout the game possible. (I will have to play the game from start to end at least 98342 times) It's just the dialogue and the frame header. The options and menu display perfectly legible japanese. Anyway to fix this problem?

This is probably because this is a Japanese game that can't be decoded by my computer. Some Japanese games show their Japanese without *#&*&Q@^# (like Nursery Rhyme) but I don't know why some of these fail to show the Japanese properly (like Polyphonica and Tomoyo After). If someone knows how to solve this, please tell me.

For people who want to play the game: This is hentai like all of the other Key games. If you don't want hentai, but want the story, get the manga. 4 chapters long. The manga does give the main story, but the game has more side stories in it. If you want the manga (I only have raw) ask me.

One more thing: How do you extract background music from computer games such as these?

When playing Japanese games, sometimes you can't just use AppLocale. You have to actually switch your computer to primarily Japanese.

That option is in Control Panel -> Regional and Language options. And yes, you do have to restart to do this.

Send me the raws will you?
An also to get the music, you whould go to your hard drive in the 'My computer' icon and there should be a file titled KEY in there.
      The music should be inside.
