BPM's too slow for my liking.

Decent song, it could be a decent stepfile even for the length if the song was faster and had more to it.

The song doesn't need to be faster. It's fine the way it is.

Also, the song is okay. It has a video game feel to it, which I really like.

If you just want it for the song, it's great the way it is. However, the majority of the FFR population seems to complain about long and easy stepfiles, which this song would probably end up being.

If you want to try to make it into a long yet challenging file go right ahead.

                  >< shall I just cut the song in half in Audacity and call it good?

No, don't do that, it would ruin the song. I would say yes if this was just the same beat repeating over and over, but there are a bunch of beat changes to keep the song original and interesting.

I mean, after listening to it a couple more times, I guess it is possible to make a decent file out of this... it just is going to be hard to do it without overstepping it.

True, true... Maybe try stepping different parts of the song at different times? Like doing the synth at one point, and then doing the drum riffs at another (lots of drum riffs in this one, hopefully that might make a difference)?

                        That actually sounds reasonable.

Doing that would avoid this from being another Song for the Nihojins (or h/o you spell it)
Using the drum riffs could put this into the challenging range.

Just use/layer different voices. There are like a million things going on in the music at the same time, so it's really not too hard to do something with it.

If you guys think the song is too long cut it. Duh.

EDIT: Cut implies cut it in the right place.

But again, that could ruin the songs completely if it isn't cut at the right time, and I'm not seeing any point in the songs aside from the end where it could be cut and still sound good. (finally, 300 posts. Another 2 years before I make 1000 XD)

Just keep the song as is, and we can get someone experienced to step it. Sulfer seems to enjoy stepping your stuff, if I remember right.
