    Love, a fantastical experience..

[ This is mostly to the girl that I care for and love and would do anything in the world for her ]

I stand and watch and take a deep breath. After taking a large amount of hidden courage, I began to speak to the one who's heart I most desire. You make my heart beat faster than ever, making the thrill of being around you much more pleasant, you make me happy. We have been through a lot together, and I can only imagine that after a long period of time, we had such evil attempts of breaking apart further, it could end so suddenly . Your independence has driven me mad and by both of us seeing the error of our ways has only begun to strengthen the bond between us. I sit at night wondering how I can make it to the next day without seeing your beautiful face one more time. We both have had crazy dreams and fantastical experiences about and with each other. I could not love you more than I can right now but yet I feel that I'm not giving it all. I love you, and I want you to know this.

Is this Love, or is this fantasy?

I am of the opinion that love letters shouldn't be posted on forums. No matter.

I feel like this is really sort of cheesy and that if you ever break up with this girl and find another, you'll probably write pretty much the same things. Call me bitter, I don't know. There are some spelling mistakes (i.e. who's instead of whose) and one part doesn't make sense (it could it so suddenly).

Nah, and there can be opinions on love letters.
Believe me, if we do break up theres going to be an incredibly strong chance of us getting back together the next day.

          Okay, well...

I don't know how old you are, but it all seems very romanticized.

It doesn't say anything.. I'm not even sure what it is... Is it a poem? A short story? Or just a random text?

            Something is missing there.

It's more of a love letter, to be exact.

I don't really see how this is impersonal. I mean yeah, it looks generic to someone who isn't really involved with either of these two people, but for the most part, someone who is reading those who understands a lot of the vague, yet obvious experiences described here, most likely would find it very personal; touching even.

Either way, I still agree that this would've been a much better PM than thread. Also, I hope your girlfriend or whatever she is to you now, loves your bad usage of tenses. That aside, good luck.

sappy, sounds fabricated. i spout garbage like this to most people to get laughs.

hey shasta, you must believe me when i say that i am deeply, desperately, and emphatically in love with you. truly the stars had been aligned when you descended from the heavens to grace us with your unparalleled beauty. i love you with the fire of a thousand suns. i know where my heart and my loyalties lie. i will smile at the broken seventh seal as apocalypse overtakes me; for i am sustained by my love for you, my fair, sweet Shasta.

see? easy. hardly any thought involved at all. hallmark caliber bilge with a little creepy overdramaticized romanticism. (except i totally mean it shasta, 374 days until you're 18 right? lol)

drunk chaz is not nice. i apologize.

nah, I totally get what you're saying. I will admit, I'm pretty sappy and what not with my gf, but still, to her, it's personal, as she "gets" a lot of the stuff I say, or whatever. But yeah, the majority of people would agree with you.

On the whole though, actions speak louder than words, so yeah, use that to express your feelings, not words like this.

There's no such thing as guts on the internets.

but there is certainly a display of guts online......see above (his letter)....there's guts right there...putting your emotion into something that people will criticize to feel cool or better or just for the sake of argument.....

If you're scared of people's opinions on the internet, you shouldn't be here.

Also chaz, you forgot the whole "You're why cavemen painted on walls." bit.
