Do you play with your wrists resting on something or not?

I was just curious what everybody does with their wrists when they play. I personally have this IMAK ergoBeads wrist supporter. I use that to rest my wrists on while I play the FFR

Does anyone just have their wrists suspended in the air? Does having your wrists rest/not rest on something make you better/worse at FFR?

Until recently, no. Then my mom bought me one of those gel wrist pads, it's really helped my wrists not hurt as much playing FFR and its improved my game too.

I place my wrist on the desk when playing but I think I'll try Turboyoshi's way.

Yea, I feel more comfortable with my wrists on something when im playing.
I'm sure the same goes for people who play on laptops.

On Challenging - Guru songs I raise my wrist in the air and on difficult - very difficult songs I just rest them.

I never put my hands on the ground while playing. They are suspended throughout the whole song.

I read this thread like "do you play with your wrists when you are resting on something or not".

Yeah, when I'm on a bed or couch, I love having fun with my wrists.

Sometimes. I use the wrist pad when I want to.

I always play with my wrists on the desk.

16th jumpstreams and trills hurt too much otherwise.
Why would you put that in your signature? You've lost your signature rights for a month. (You'll get them back on March 10th, 2012.)

I can't stand resting on jelpads. Much like JHK, I raise them in the air on more difficult songs.

In the air. I feel that my speed is increased dramatically when playing with my wrists in the air.

With them laying on something I can't pass Identity Part 2 Oni.

...I just tried suspending my wrist in the air and I played better.

                            What the hell.
