ffr wont work for me for some reason. everytime i try to play (not in MP) it wont load the ffr engine and if it does load i try a song and then that wont load. i already emptied my cache and restarted my comp. does anyone have any advice that might work. its been going on like this for about a day and a half now.

If you aren't talking to the population at large, you should avoid posting publically for the population at large to see and respond to.
You complained of a problem, asked for help, people asked for more information that you were unable to provide them.
You posted the error you were getting and were told (albiet a little rudely) that it seemed like a more serious problem to take up with an admin. At that point, leaving the thread alone is probably the best plan, rather than feeding the trolls and inciting hostility.Comment

Try the usual:
- Clear your cache
- Get the latest version of Internet Explorer and Flash Player
- Restart your computer
- Try waiting some time, the server was undergoing maintnance the other dayComment

I've had this problem too :O On my home computer the whole FFR website has been laggy for me, even the forums and profiles. This has been really puzzling me as I've had no problem with Internet lagginess outside of FFR.com. And also it seems computer independent, I tried loading FFR on my Dad's computer and it still refused to load. However at uni FFR loads fine and the website isn't laggy at all... After doing the above, I restarted, went to FFR, and the site is still bugging out. The actual game engine, takes about 1-2 minutes to load, granted it actually loads. Songs, about the same time.
Another edit~ If it matters, I use XP Pro and the problem persists in both Mozilla Firefox, and IE.
Not to be rude, but it would be nice to get some more input on the matter ASAP, as the tournament rounds are approaching, and I'd like to have the problem fixed before then. =]

Same here, started just before Synth annouced the server updates. I havent played a game of FFR for a while and the forums are a pain to browse.
Download Speed: 500kb/s Upload: 90kb/s
Browser: Safaria 1.3.2
OS: Mac OSX 10.3.9
For about 3 weeks the FFR engine was loading within ~10sec, working really well. Now I cant load jack crap. I hope I can get it working b4 the tournament starts.Last edited by windsurfer-sp; 09-5-2007, 04:33 AM.Orbb fan club.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one with problems... Couple hours ago I couldn't even reply to this thread it was so bad. But now it seems everything is good. Hope it stays that way.
