i have this problem also, have tried clearing cache, restarting, made sure i had updated IE and Flash, everything, and i havent been able to sucessfully load a song for 2 weeks now.... i can occasionally get the game to load, after it gets stuck on numerous different numbers. songs are loading at aprox 1% in 2 mins..... im on 512k and it WAS working fine a while back, whats wrong

Please tell me, are you on dialup? What browser and version of flash?

Also, did you clear cache?

It's still slow for me at home too. I have ADSL 512k/128k, both IE and FireFox experience lag, and everything is up to date. It's kinda interesting that quite a few people have this problem, yet it seems so random :/

slow, but stable as of now, no idea at all what was happening, has been not working for about a month or so..... thanks for whatever you did, only tried 1 song now but im assuming others work

I'm not using dialup. lol. Im using DSL Extreme. I think AT&T is my ISP?
OS - Windows XP Pro
Browser - I've tried IE, FF, and Opera. All have the same problem.
I have the latest version of flash.

Everything's been cleared multiple times, although I havent been expecting a different result after the first couple times I tried clearing all my private data.

So I'm pretty sure there's a confliction between my IP and FFR's servers, or my ports on the network I'm hooked up to are just not accepting the sites. Firewall is disabled, so I'm pretty sure that's not the problem.

So...ya. ): This happened randomly. Never had any problems with FFR, other than the occasional slow periods that are expected on the site.

Edit ~ I might add that I tried FFR using a proxy. The result was a very small marginal increase in loading, but none of the songs were 'available.'

Do you guys find other parts of the site slow also? I have to refresh a damn forum page over and over sometimes just to get it to load properly :/

I have the same thing also... Since 1 september, since the updates has begon...

The forum and the game are both sometimes slow, and sometimes not... And sometimes they don't load at all. It's very irritating

Also getting dial-up download speeds from the Simfile DB. Something's definitely gone wrong here...

EDIT: I've just noticed 4 different Australian players have posted in this thread, that's interesting.

yeah im still having this problem and now the MP wont even load now. this did start to happen after the updates began.

I can't even chat in VC properly anymore, I stop receiving messages/webcam then after like 2-3 minutes I get like 100 lines of chat appear at once...
