    The GOP should abandon the culture war that makes conservative Sen. Larry Craig look like a hypocrite.


    And pleaded guilty.

    While completely hypocritical on his part and once again exposes the silliness of homophobic legislation, the arrest is asinine. The man was merely asking for sex. Not for monetary gain (prostitution) and not even specifically to be had in the bathroom. Night clubs would probably be out of business if it was illegal to solicit sex at those places >__>

    While I'm totally against the arrest, I'm damn glad that somehow his, erm... preferences were exposed. Helps the common sense position on gay marriage.

      Meh, I guess I see what you mean. Simply asking for sex shouldn't be something that one should be punished for.

                                                  uh, having sex in public is a misdemeanor, hence soliciting public sex is a misdemeanor. Why would you have an issue with the arrest?

                                                          Well -supposedly-, elected officials should follow the will of the people they represent. If the people are anti-homosexual, then technically he should vote against pro-homosexual legislation, regardless of his own beliefs.
