    Songs I will be working on...

    Alright, now that my heat has cooled down, I think that I will be suggesting new songs. There will be no poll, so that way I won't have to deal with making a file that everyone in the community doesn't want.

    Currently looking for permission from:
    Darude -- Awaiting Approval

    Needs permission to make steps:
    Sandstorm (by Darude) -- Awaiting Approval

    Making steps for songs in the permissions list:

                          sorry, but i don't think anyone will want a 7 minute neomax file. people are probably satisfied with the current one. i love that full song, but the steps would be either overstepped, too much like the current one, or too easy. not much room.

                                      When I play FFR, I tend to stay away from files that are longer than 2:30 minutes.

                                      Making a file that is 5 minutes+ will most likely get declined and you will waste tons of time making a long ass file and in the end it will get declined.

                                      I recommend making a file between 2 - 3 minutes long.

                                      But if you ignore what I say because I don't have a FFR1 Simfile Author thing beside my name then fine by me.

                                          Well, MAX Forever and MaxX Attack got accepted, so I am assuming people want a MAX file that is around the same time as the other two.

                                          But if it gets declined, I can always add it to the SimFile DB...

                                                  mkay sorry keep it down here, though, boy.

                                                  people don't really like to play max forever and pants as much as other files. it's extremely hard to whore a long song for a good score. there's a reason there are only 2 songs over 5 minutes i know of, out of 350+ songs.

                                                      i think it can be generally agreed that really long songs are not as liked as short ones. try doing other songs that havent been stepped for ffr instead of full versions of songs we already have and like. best chance is between 1 and 3 minute long songs.

                                                          And, maybe your right about the songs.
                                                          But I think that Sepia (full version) is not very much longer than what it is currently on FFR. And, there is still the Scary Kids Scaring Kids song. And I am still awaiting approval from Darude.
