    When you first play DDR?

    I was wondering i want to ask you
    when was the first time you play DDR (please be specific if possible)

    I first played at 2004-2005 at the age of 9-10
    heres my process:
    on christmas or my birthday i got this game Spongebob the movie game for ps2.
    i was in the middle of the game and for some reason i kept moving a certain direction without me pressing anything i thought it was the game then later realized it was the controller i was using(some madcatz controller)
    i returned the game and exchanged it.
    i saw DDR and i wanted it i was told extreme was the newest at the time but i got max 2 cause it had coolio flames then before i was at the counter i ran back and got extreme instead.alright thats my story.

              Actually I started playing DDR right after Stepmania.

              I originally hated DDR, until I played Stepmania at my school. During these dance parties, they pull out the two cobalt flux pads and set them up in the math room. The monitor is switched over to the projector, meaning huge screen with awesome songs. I loved this game, and when I found out DDR was the same, I went out and bought it.

                  First time I played DDR, I was 7 and my cousin introduced it to me. I sucked at it because there was no beginner difficulty back then.

                      the first time I play DDR when I was 14 two years later this year when I was 16 I became very good at it, I am good at heavy and chelenge mode.
                      I started play DDR when I got DDR extreme 2 with a dance pad on christmas day.

                          I'm of teh best DDR players in SoCal! I started playing in '04.

                                      umm I tried DDR when i was like...little and at the arcade idk

                                      DDR's awesome

                                      It's good for people who have better Gross Motor Skills rather than Acute Motor Skills

                                      but if ur better with your fingers i say go for FFR

                                      either way they're both awesome games

                                          i first officialy started playing (before this i did a few beginer songs and failed lol.)about 1 1/2 years ago and now i can pass faxx heavy pad (a) and faxx controller oni (b or a i forgot) and since im only a teen i go to the arcade and play people and they pick some hard song and ask if its to intense then i beat them on the difficulty higher than theirs lol. and they are usually 14-20 year old people.

                                              the first time i played was a long time after i started to play this game then stepmania then DDR cant say ive tried ITG yet tho...

                                                  Ahh... I remember playing when it first came out. I was like 6.

                                                  Then, after 5 years, I saw a 24 year old (I don't remember very well) playing DDR. I versed him in My Summer Love Heavy (4th mix, I was only 11) and I beat him.

                                                  Now, it's some 9 years later and I have done every DDR stepchart and almost every ITG stepchart.

                                                          In 2003, the French classes at the middle school I went to take a trip up to Quebec. We went to this HUGE mall which had 2 stories, and contained a Carousel, a Ferris Wheel that was actually too big and had a round section of the roof extended out, and a non-looping roller coaster that went along the top floor and dipped down to helix around the caousel before returning to the station. On the second floor was a walkway across width of the mall, which split left and right. The left lead to the roller coaster, while stairs down to the first floor were on the right. At the intersection was a DDR machine. Can't remember what version it was, or what song I played, but I remember I failed HORRIBLY. Luckily the people laughing at me were Japanese, so I didn't hear what they said. When I came home, I was watching TechTv(what is now G4) and saw DDRMAX(2?) and thought "I'm never going to like that game." Forward to Christmas that year, where I got it as one of those Don't know what I want, get me whatever" gifts. I have been playing ever since.
