about in the year 2000 when it was the time of 2nd - 3rd mix. I had a 2nd mix and a topway softpad for my ps1.

Well I never started playing DDR. But I did however start with ITG.
All my friends played DDR on the boardwalk. The reason I had so many ddr playing boardwalk buddies was becuase I started working on the boardwalk. This was summer of 06. The arcade that I worked at had both Supernova and ITG2. So I tried supernova. Didn't really like it, didn't like the songs. I sucked anyway.
So I started playing ITG2. Obsessed over it forever. Played ever day. Uped a difficulty level each week (It was in the end of the boardwalk season. August. I actually just passed my anniversery for ITG2. Lol.) And then it closed over the winter, so I played me some Supernova to keep in shape. Got back into it this summer in the beginning of the season. Now i'm practically pro. Just need to work on my timing. I can star almost any 9/10 and some 11. I can double star almost any 8. Some nines. And my stamina is out of this world.

That's my story.

i first played DDR maybe a year ago and hated it lmao... i cant even do stuff on beginner at like.. 80 BPM.... go ahead make fun of me lol, i already know i suck

I first started playing DDR in May of 2004 at my friend's birthday party and I've been playing ever since.

i saw DDR and i wanted it i was told extreme was the newest at the time but i got max 2 cause it had coolio flames then before i was at the counter i ran back and got extreme instead.

You should've stuck with Max 2.

I started playing like 5-6 years ago. I can't remember what machine, but I tried it at an arcade and automatically loved it. I then bought Konamix a while later and played the game for about 6 months without a dance pad. Until the time I got my first official Konami dancepad, I danced around on the floor as if I had an imaginary one. Yah, those were the days...

i started november 2006 i was in 8th grade fell it love with it instantly,talked about it so much made my friend hate it,ive been getting worse cause my pads broken(yes my metal one $110 down the drain :'() and ive been getting fatter but if i had a pad that worked i could get it back off

i started at age 11 and i´m 13 now. i got my skill level up to heavy and chalenge modes (but heavy is allways harder than challenge if you pay close attention) within 2 hours and i had never played before (the fact that i threw up and passed out because of too much strain on my body is irrelevant) but anyways BEAT THAT BICHEZ!!!

I played FFR first and then I wanted to try DDR. Next Christmas I got DDR Mario Mix which I mastered in a few months. I then played real DDR at the 30 hour famine (May) doing stuff Like Captain Jack Standard and Get Busy Heavy. The next Christmas I got a PS2, a metal DDR pad, and DDR Ex2. During March break while in the US I bought ITG. At this point I was doing things like PSM Oni and Max 300. Now I'm able to do things like Charlene and Vertex (Hard).

Hmm...Let me think...

Oh yeah. I was at a movie theatre near me that had DDR Extreme, and played a bit of beginner. It seemed to easy for me, so I decided to play light on Crash!, and it was so fun that I spent the rest of money there to play it. This was 3 years ago.
