    OMG COLD DAY IN WNY FO REALZ FO REALZ

    OK, so you know when there is a lot of snow, they like have to cancle the thing called school, rgiht? Well everyone knows that if its really cold they have to ccancle it, well my mommy which i love near and dear just heard on the news that that number, is for the wind chill to be -20, so like it is schedualed to be like -5 and VERY windy, so like we might have a "cold day" tomarrow, this gonna happen anywhere else?\

    EDIT: omg fo realz we got a cold day, yeah, i own, you dont, now how you gonna act?

      I don't have school tomorrow because the boiler to my scholll is still broken, I might not have it on Friday either.

                  i have school for 2 hours tommorow becasue of finals so i go in at 7:45 and get out at 10:30 I dont have school on friday either becasue of a teacher inservice

                          wtf? you guys get Cold Days? That isn't fair at all! We had a temp of 6 degrees and a wind chill of -22 and we still had to go to school. I don't care though, i get monday off and the following friday off for end of semester.

                                  dude, they made us go today.

                                  temp right now is -20, and the wind chill is -35. i couldn't even get the car door open this morning...when i did...the snow was like glued onto the car. once i got it off...it all fogged up on the inside, then it like...froze onto the inside of the windshield, and i had to scrape it off on the inside and again during the drive during a red light. -_- made it to school with like 1 min before my class started...

                                  they don;t cancel school (well, here at least) untill the wind chill is -40, then they consider walking to school dangerous because frost bite risk, so they cancel it.

                                      That really sucks. Hell, if itwas ever that cold and i had to go to school, i'd stay home for a week. But man, do i love Washington. It NEVER gets that cold here!

                                          We had a temperature of -17 degrees and a wind chill of about -25 to -30 and all we had was an hour less school for one day...

                                              Your school is a pussy about that. For our school to cancel it has to be in excess of -40 degrees with windchill before they'll even consider it. And as for snow? We havn't had a snow day for about 8 years (due to the like 80,000 snowplows we have).

                                                      Heh, that's where I live. We got the whole week off after winter break because of snow :P.
