i wanna get good at songs like vertex beta or R176. i don't know what songs i should do in preparation. anyone have any good suggestions on which songs are good practice for anything in the challenging or higher category?

Vertex Beta: I would say to try {Blaze}, {Rose} and Gradeus.
R176: Maybe TGWP4 and Lovely Lovely Lovely? -

well, practice cia rave, and it will give you basic streams for vertex, but on cia rave, they're slowed down

Wait...I may have misread your post. Are you looking for songs that are Challenging and above to practice? Or do you want easier songs that will help with those that are Challenging+?Comment

Alright then, I'll stick with what I said. Besides, that's not a bad Blaze sightread, so just keep working on those few songs to get your speed up, and the ability to read streams and lots of jumps.Comment

If your able, try to go to 900 or more combo in BB evolution, that's what I did and now I'm pretty good with pants, Vertex Beta and other things like that.
P.S.: If your not able go to that, go to at least 600 combo. It's the minimum.

For Vertex BETA, play Lawn Wake IV and Strangeprogram some. Once you start comboing those streams, you can play Vertex BETA. It'll be a lot easier since it's slower than those other two.Comment
